Hello! I’m Roela Tanaka, founder of Smile International Language School. With 17 years of English teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping children learn with confidence and joy. I’ve also been teaching in local kindergartens and volunteering at the Children’s Center Asobotte for over 11 years. Welcome to Smile!

Our mission is to help children enjoy learning English step by step, in a way that builds their confidence and makes learning a fun part of their daily life. We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and happy, they can grow not just in English, but as curious and confident learners. Through our lessons, we hope to open doors to new opportunities and help each child build the skills they need for a bright future where they can connect with the world

LESSON
What's a product or service you'd like to show. In our lessons, we focus on making English fun and exciting for children. We believe that when kids enjoy learning, they can remember and use English more naturally. That’s why we don’t just study from books — we play games, sing songs, and sometimes even dance together! Through these activities, students can practice English in a happy and active way, making it easier for them to feel confident and love learning.
私たちのレッスンは、「楽しく学ぶ」ことを大切にしています。子どもたちが英語を自然に身につけられるように、教科書だけでなく、ゲームをしたり、歌を歌ったり、ダンスをしたりしながら楽しく英語にふれています。遊びながら英語を使うことで、子どもたちは安心して話せるようになり、「英語が好き！」という気持ちを育てていきます。
